The AATF is thrilled to announce our 2024 keynote speaker -- M. Alain Mabanckou!

Alain Mabanckou, Congolese-born French citizen, is an award-winning novelist, journalist, poet and professor at the University of California at Los Angeles where he focuses on Francophone Sub-Saharan African Literature, African American Literature and Creative Writing.  His novels and non-fiction writing portray life in contemporary Africa and the African Diaspora in France.
