Getting Started with JAF

  There are three steps for starting a new JAF Chapter:

1. Become an active member of the AATF

• • • AATF membership is $55 (+ any optional local chapter dues) per calendar year (January 1st - December 31st) and must be renewed annually.
    • AATF membership can be purchased one of two ways:
      • For new members:  Online Purchase of AATF Membership via our store using credit card, ACH, or invoice or
      • For existing members: Create a new account if you have not since 1/31/24 [instructions found here] and log in. Navigate to your Member Compass (found on the top right side of the page). There you will find an outstanding membership invoice if you have not paid for the current calendar year
        • •  If you wish to pay via check please mail payment to 7333 W Jefferson Ave, Suite 240 Lakewood, CO 80235

2. Purchase an Honor Society Charter

• • The JAF Charter costs $10 and is what establishes an SHF chapter for your school.
  • JAF Charters can be purchased online paying with credit card, purchase order, or check:
    • Here via our online store 
    • [please note: users must be logged in to the site in order to purchase]
      
      • If you wish to pay via PO or check, please order through the store and select "invoice" at purchase.
      • The invoice can be used to generate POs or cut a check.
        • Please mail payment to 7333 W Jefferson Ave, Suite 240 Lakewood, CO 80235

3. Induct students into your Honor Society Chapter

• • Inductions into your JAF Chapter cost $4 per student and formally makes your student part of the SHF.
  • JAF Inductions can be purchased here via our online store [please note: users must be logged in to the site in order to purchase]
    
    • If you wish to pay via PO or check, please order through the store and select "invoice" at purchase.
    • The invoice can be used to generate POs or cut a check.
