AATF Convention Travel Award - Paris 2027 (Information)

This award is intended to provide assistance for AATF members traveling to the 100th annual AATF Convention, July 7-9, 2027 in Paris. We will award up to forty (40) Convention Travel Awards to AATF members to help defray the cost of attending the convention. Applicants may receive the travel award only once every five years. Priority will be given to applicants who have never attended an AATF convention.
- Award amount: up to $2000 for travel/accommodations (award amount does not include registration or excursions). An initial amount will be paid upon presentation of a receipt(s) for airfare/accommodations, and the remainder will be paid upon submission of travel receipts and proof of a presentation at an AATF event (chapter meeting or subsequent national convention). Recipients also agree to submit a signed letter agreeing to reimburse the money in the event of nonattendance at the convention.
- Candidates must be paid AATF members for 2027 and have been AATF members since 2024. Recipients agree to make a presentation at an AATF function (chapter meeting) on a topic inspired by the convention in Paris.
- Applicants should submit a description of how they intend to use the experience and also explain their need for travel assistance. Recipients of the award will be expected to attend all days of the convention.
- These grants will be awarded in two cycles. Cycle 1 applications will be open October-November, and applicants will be notified of their status in December. Cycle 2 will be open December-January, with applicants being notified of their status in February.
