FiES Poster Contest
2026 Contest
AATF National FiES Commission
Elementary and Middle School Poster Contest
All posters will be submitted electronically
through the AATF website.
The AATF National FiES Commission is delighted to announce the 2026 Poster Contest for elementary and middle school students of French in kindergarten through grade 8. Students enrolled in public, private, and home schools are eligible. We hope you will encourage your students to participate and support them with some research and learning for the contest. Winning posters will be made into postcards and available at our convention in Boston.
AATF chapters should publicize the contest. Individual teachers may electronically submit up to three posters in each category to the National FiES Commission Poster Contest which is chaired by Karen Campbell Kuebler (kkcdanser@verizon.net).

We again look forward to receiving creative posters from students throughout the country for the 2026 National FiES Poster Contest.
The poster contest judges will be using these learning targets to further clarify the applicability of theme, creativity, and effort as well as the additional requirement of a drawing or photo of you in front of the future mural section of the design. What mural do you want to visit in the future? Note: You do not need to use a mural that already exists. You may create your own!
