Amanda Seewald Executive Director Amanda Seewald serves as Executive Director of JNCL-NCLIS, leading national efforts to advance language education, multilingualism, and language access through advocacy, coalition-building, and strategic partnerships. She works closely with policymakers, educators, member organizations, and industry leaders to strengthen support for language learning and expand opportunities for learners across the United States. A nationally recognized leader in the language education profession, Seewald brings more than 25 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, educator coaching, and program design. She is the owner of MARACAS Language Programs and Learning Kaleidoscope Educational Consulting, supporting schools and organizations in developing innovative multilingual and dual language immersion programs. Before becoming Executive Director, Seewald served for more than a decade on the JNCL-NCLIS Board of Directors, including as President and volunteer Interim Executive Director. She is a Past President of the Foreign Language Educators of New Jersey (FLENJ), a former New Jersey Representative to the National Network for Early Language Learning (NNELL), and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (NECTFL). Her advocacy efforts also contributed to the successful adoption of the New Jersey Seal of Biliteracy in 2016. In 2020, she received the NECTFL Nelson H. Brooks Award for Outstanding Leadership in the Profession. |

Warm-up your singing voice, brush up on your favorite French-language song, and join us from 20h15-22h00 on Monday, July 13, 2026 for a night of singing and dancing. This event is free and no ticket is required, although you will need an ID to enter the karaoke bar and your AATF convention badge to enter the AATF VIP lounge.
