Beth Marshall

Bonjour! I am a world language educator committed to proficiency-based, student-centered instruction that empowers learners to engage confidently in a multilingual world. I currently teach French 1–AP to high school students in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and have taught art, French, and ESOL to learners ranging from preschool through adulthood in Ohio, North Carolina, and California before moving to Virginia. I currently serve on the board of the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF) in Virginia and serve as President of the Foreign Language Association of Virginia (FLAVA), where I advocate for high-quality language programs and support educators across the Commonwealth. As an Academic Travel Advisor and owner of Peace of Mind Pottery, I use language, creativity, and global experiences to cultivate empathy and intercultural understanding.
