Position Overview
We are seeking a nurturing and enthusiastic French Immersion Preschool Teacher to join our part-time Morning Program team at the ISSA Broadway campus, located within the inspiring environment of the DoSeum. This position is perfect for educators passionate about early childhood development and language immersion, working with children ages 3 to 5. As a teacher, you will lead a small group of young learners through dynamic, developmentally appropriate activities—all conducted in French.
Our Morning Program at the DoSeum offers a unique blend of play-based, inquiry-driven learning within San Antonio’s premier children’s museum, fostering creativity, curiosity, and language acquisition.
About the ISSA Morning Program
Our Morning Program serves children ages 3 to 5, providing a unique immersion experience that blends language learning with interactive play. Through our exclusive partnership with The DoSeum, young learners (ages 3–4) are fully immersed in their target language—French, Spanish, or Mandarin Chinese—via engaging, hands-on activities guided by native-speaking teachers.
Classes are designed to be fun, developmentally appropriate, and rich in cultural content, featuring a variety of play-based experiences, stories, and songs from around the world. This immersive environment fosters natural language acquisition while nurturing creativity and curiosity.
About the International School of San Antonio
The International School of San Antonio is a private school offering comprehensive language immersion education for students from Pre-K through 5th grade. Our mission is to help young learners become fluent, confident participants in their communities while preparing them for a wide range of future educational and career opportunities. Families may choose a French, Chinese, or Spanish language track for their children.
In our Early Learning and Primary School programs, the international curriculum is delivered in the selected target language—French, Spanish, or Mandarin Chinese—alongside English. Students develop strong literacy skills in both languages while building a solid foundation in math, science, social studies, and the arts. Across all subject areas, we foster curiosity and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore and question the world around them.
