Description of school: Large public school in a large public district (Chandler Unified School District). French 1 through 4/AP are offered with the possibility of dual enrollment in levels 3 and 4 and AP in level 4. We have an established French Club and Société Honoraire de Français. We have an accelerated middle school on campus as well. The middle school students are able to get ahead by taking high school classes. There has been solid interest in French both at the middle and high school levels. The administration and staff are very supportive and collaborative. The school climate is warm, inviting and inclusive. Basha has many strong sports and fine arts programs. Students, in general, are responsible, compassionate and high achievers. Parents are generally communicative and supportive.

Job Goal: The classroom teacher will lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential by translating the district curriculum standards and objectives into meaningful learning experiences through classroom instruction and indirectly through special area assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • AZ Teaching Certificate
  • AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Appropriately Certified
