Members - First, go to the French Contest Store and log in at the upper right corner and use the email address on your AATF membership and your member ID as your password. Even if your membership is not renewed, your account can be accessed with your email and member ID.

Non-members - Click register at the upper right corner to create an account.

Important Information Regarding Registration

1.    If you pay your 2024 AATF Membership via National HQ, there can be a delay between the time you pay and the time we receive your membership info. The membership database is not live in the the Contest store and it is updated once a week.

CONTACT US for assistance if you have recently renewed and your order is showing at the non-member rate in the Contest store. Please do not click CONFIRM ORDER if the incorrect rate is showing and contact us for assistance to ensure your order is correct. Merci.

You may re-new your membership at the same time as you place your Contest order (or place two orders if you need to pay for your membership separately). 

Note: registration is not complete until payment in full is received and results and awards will NOT be sent until payment in full has been received.

5.    Order deadlines

    • FLES Online: last date to order is March 5

    • Levels 01-5: Suggested deadline is February 15, 2024 (last date to order is April 7, 2024)

6.    Late orders are allowed! However, you must place your order at least three hours before you wish to test.

Registration Costs

The following fees represent the National expenses, for basic test and audio recording development, duplication, and distribution; administrative costs; computer scoring/on-line testing; publicity; and awards. Chapters may add a charge to these fees to support local Contest expenses.

Base cost per student:

    • AATF members: $5.00* -- PLUS local chapter fees, if applicable.
    • Non-members: $10.00* - PLUS local chapter fees, if applicable.

No hard copy certificates will be available. When results are posted on your Lingco account, you will have a pdf file with your student certificates prepared for you - all ready to download and print.

*Chapters may add additional fees to support local Contest expenses and awards. Local fees are clearly indicated in your purchase price.

Sample Online Test

TEACHERS can use Lingco to review the 2023 Contest at no cost.  Please contact us for information on how to set up a teacher account.

Students must be invited by their teachers to access the 2023 sample Contest and may not create accounts without a teacher invitation.
