Event Details

French courses for specific purposes are a terrific way to attract college and university students and show a connection between the language and their future careers. Creating such a course can be challenging and time-consuming, but the Commissions on Colleges and Universities and on French for Specific Purposes have assembled four speakers for a webinar showcasing courses on French for Engineering, Sports in France, French for Health and Medical Professions, and Business French. Join us for this co-sponsored event aimed at inspiring you to put together an FSP course of your own.
With presenters:
Laurence Denie-Higney, Continuing Lecturer, UCLA
E. Nicole Meyer, Professor of French & Women's and Gender Studies, Augusta University and Chair of the AATF French for Specific Purposes Commission
Jessica L. Sturm, Associate Professor of French and Applied Linguistics, Purdue University and Co-Chair of the AATF Commission on Colleges and Universities
Ana Valero-Peña, Lecturer in French, Purdue University
